As the Obsidian community continues to expand, new plugins are constantly being developed, adding to the tool’s already impressive functionality.

In this article, we will be highlighting some of the latest and most noteworthy plugins added to Obsidian. So, let’s jump right in and explore the new & useful Obsdian plugins.

Image Helper

This plugin shows the context menu to convert images to jpeg, webp, and png format. The plus point is that this plugin works in reading mode.

Right-click the image in the reading view and the context menu will open.

Highlight helper

If you do a lot of highlighting in Obsidian, this is going to be useful. This plugin copies the highlights of the open note. Then you can create a separate note for the highlights.

This can be useful for workflows like progressive summarization.

Default syntaxes of markdown highlights are added by default. If you use other expressions for highlighting, you can add those expressions in the plugins options.
