DataCore: The Game-Changing Successor to Obsidian’s Dataview Plugin

Dataview is one of the most powerful plugins in obsidian. It is widely used within obsidian and has earned the second spot on the list of the most downloaded plugins. While it has a technical learning curve, its usefulness for obsidian users can not be denied.

Dataview is a powerful tool for querying notes and creating an organized structure inside your second brain in obsidian.

However, there is a successor to Dataview that is being developed by the same developer Michael “Tres” Brenan aka blacksmithgu, called Datacore.

Datacore promises to provide an enhanced experience for users with significant improvements in both user interface and performance. It offers a complete overhaul of the old Dataview queries, while still providing support for them with added functionalities.

In this article, we will explore some of the exciting features of the Datacore plugin that we can expect upon its release.
