The world has changed more in the past 20 years than in the past 200 years.

Things have changed. Be it from technology advancing, the influx of labor due to globalization, or shifting immigration patterns.

Technology is moving at an incredibly fast pace, with every facet of our lives now linked intrinsically to microchips in one way or another. While this might all be in the name of progress, it’s also having a negative effect on many people and their careers which are increasingly becoming automated.

Things change, economics evolve and there’s nothing more you can do about it than adapt to new realities.

If you can keep yourself in the category of the following three groups, you are likely to not only survive but also thrive in the new economy.

1. The High-skilled Workers

Advances such as robotics and voice recognition are automating many low-skilled positions.

More abstracts and data-driven reasoning made technologies like data visualizations, analytics, high-speed communications, and rapid prototyping into lucrative industries.
